Privacy Policy

Mister Minh ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through misterminh.com.au, why we collect it, and how we handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• Details you give us in our enquiry forms — your name, email, phone number, event date, guest numbers, menu choices and any notes.
• A scrambled (one-way encrypted) version of your internet address, used only to stop spam and repeated automated submissions.
• Information about how you use the website, collected by Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel (see below).

Table bookings are made through OpenTable and online orders through Square. Those services collect your details under their own privacy policies.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and manage your booking or catering order.
• To send you a confirmation email of what you asked for.
• To understand which pages and advertising bring people to our website, so we can improve it.

We don't sell your personal information, and we won't send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Google Analytics and Meta Pixel

Our website uses Google Analytics (provided by Google) and the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram). They use cookies and similar technology to record things like the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, your approximate location, and when you send us an enquiry. We see this information in summary form; we don't see who you are.

Google and Meta may store and process this information overseas, including in the United States, and may use it to show you Mister Minh ads on their platforms. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, your Facebook ad preferences, or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Who else sees your information

Your enquiry details are stored securely with our website hosting and database provider, and emails are sent through our email delivery provider. These providers may be located overseas and only handle your information to provide their service to us. Only Mister Minh staff can view enquiries.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your event and for our business records, then delete them.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
